Memory Concerns: See A Doctor First
Ongoing memory or focus concerns deserve a proper assessment, and no supplement should replace medical care.
Never stop or replace prescribed treatment for a supplement.
Why a check-up matters
Forgetting names, losing track of why you entered a room or feeling foggy can come from poor sleep, stress, low vitamin B12, thyroid problems, medication side effects, depression and other causes, many of them treatable. Some changes are a sign that deserves proper assessment.
What a supplement can and cannot do
Olicept is a dietary supplement. Nothing we found shows it prevents, treats or reverses memory loss, cognitive decline or dementia, and a sense of improvement is not a diagnosis. If you are low in B vitamins, a doctor can test for it rather than guess.
Bring someone you trust
If memory worries you or your family, book an appointment and bring a relative or friend. Note when changes started and list everything you take, including supplements, and mention biotin before any blood test.
When to seek care quickly
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking, weakness on one side, a severe headache or a sudden change in behaviour need urgent medical attention.
